Banana Bread
There a million banana bread recipes out there and I have only ever made this one. So to say that this is the best one, I don’t really know. However, I have tasted many banana breads in my years, and I know that this is the best one I have tasted – which is why this is the only one I have ever made!
The problem I find with other banana breads is moisture – so often, they are too dry. Which is a little baffling to me since bananas are moist! Be that as it may, this recipe delivers a moist banana bread. I am not kidding when I said it is the best one I have ever tasted. Maybe it has to do with the buttermilk that you mix with the mashed bananas, I don’t know!
If you are looking for a light, fluffy banana bread, you should look somewhere else. This one is dense and moist. Perfect for spreading cream cheese, butter, or Nutella, maybe even peanut butter! The options are limitless;) I do know that you should give it a try and let me know what you think.
*Note – if you don’t have buttermilk, you can use plain yogurt or add a squeeze of lemon juice to milk.
