Parmesan Creamed Cabbage with Ground Turkey

Creamed cabbage doesn’t sound very appetizing and I’ll be honest, I’ve never had it before I came up with this recipe. One night I had about half an hour to get dinner ready. In my fridge, I had a head of cabbage that I had absolutely no plans for and some ground turkey. A few staples in my fridge are cream, Parmesan cheese, onions, and garlic. This recipe was born.

You’re going to brown the turkey with the onion and garlic. While that is browning, cut the cabbage in small slices about 1/4 inch thick and then in half. You’ll place the cabbage in the pan with the ground turkey and stir it in, allowing it to wilt. Once it is all wilted, pour in the cream, stir, and then add the Parmesan. Perfect! Fast! Tasty!

It was an instant hit and has been on our dinner menu rotation since – especially on those busy nights. I serve it with some potato wedges cooked in the air fryer – or oven – to keep it healthy.
