A delicious mixture of chicken, cabbage, onion, garlic, and fresh ginger wrapped in a won-ton and fried make irresistible fried pot stickers.
Cut the chicken into small pieces. Heat the 1 Tbsp of vegetable oil in a skillet or wok on medium high heat. Place the chicken, onion, and garlic in the oil and cook. Add the soy sauce, sesame oil, and ginger and cook until the chicken is cooked through.
Add the cole slaw mix and cook until it is soft and wilted.
Fill the won-ton wrappers with about 1 Tbsp of the chicken mixture. Get your finger wet with water and rub water on two sides of the wrapper along a right angle. Pull up the opposite side of the wrapper making a triangle. Press the sides together sealing the won-ton.
While you are doing this, heat some oil in a frying pan or you can use a fryer. I put about 1/4 inch of oil in a small frying pan and heat on medium. When the oil is hot, place 4-6 pot stickers in the oil. Fry until golden brown and then flip. Place on a paper towel when done. Serve with ginger sauce.
Whisk together all ingredients and serve in a small bowl.
