Cole Slaw

Cole Slaw

June 10, 2019 Off By Laura Hartline

There are two quintessential summer salads, potato salad and cole slaw. I would almost guarantee you that any BBQ or party this summer will have these two salads, and possibly macaroni salad. Are you a fan? You can bet I am!

Not only is it good on its own, next to BBQ, corn, and chips, but also good on a sandwich – yes, BBQ pulled pork with cole slaw – YUM!

Now, we have all had good and bad cole slaw. The sauce can be too tangy, too bland, not enough spices. After buying several different brands, and being disappointed over and over again, I decided to make my own. Game changer – I will never buy pre-made cole slaw again. I think you will love it too. It only takes about 5 minutes and will leave you wishing you had made a double batch. Luke, my 12 year old cole slaw lover, gives it a thumbs up. Try it tonight!
