Apple Fritters
Did you get to go to an orchard and pick apples this fall? I was born in Worcester, Massachusetts. One of my few memories of MA is going to an orchard in the fall and learning how they press apples to make apple cider. It was fascinating to me and something I will never forget. Whenever I have apple cider I think of that day. This recipe makes me think of that day too.
One of Andy’s favorite fall treats is Apple Fritters. It was his dad’s specialty and when his parents were visiting once, I had him show me how to make them. They are simple and tasty and perfect for an after school snack! They are a great way to use up those old apples sitting at the bottom of the bowl with maybe a bruise or two. Just cut around it and perfecto!
