Juiciest Turkey Brine Ever

This turkey brine will produce the most juicy turkey you have ever made.

Ingredients

  • 16-24 lb turkey
  • 2 gallons cold water
  • 10 ounces Kikkoman Soy Sauce
  • 1/2 cup kosher salt
  • 1/2 cup sugar
  • 2 Tbsp dried sage
  • 2 Tbsp dried celery seed
  • 1 Tbsp dried thyme

Instructions

  1. Remove giblets and turkey neck. Rinse the turkey inside and out.

  2. In a large stock pot or clean 5 gallon bucket, mix water with remaining ingredients. Stir well until all salt dissolves.

  3. Place the turkey in the pot and cover with a lid. Refrigerate for at least 8 hours or overnight.

  4. Remove the turkey from the brine and rinse well. Follow your regular cooking instructions. ( I always rub with butter and sprinkle with salt and pepper then cook in a Reynolds turkey bag.)
